Howdy! I'm Daniel, and I am the Director of Student and Community Engagement at Hillel for Utah. I started out in the Hillel movement as the IACT (Israel Engagement Associate) at Santa Barbara Hillel in 2023, following my completion of my military service in the Israel Defense Forces. I now serve as the solo professional of Hillel for Utah, and I am elated to be here! I work with our student board and supervise all student facing aspects of the organization under the guidance of the United Jewish Federation of Utah.
I grew up in Redondo Beach, California, attended Texas Christian University, where I earned my BA in Political Science, and moved to Israel and enlisted in the IDF following the completion of my degree.
