Mazel Tov!

Wishing Mazel Tov and Kol Hakavod to Hillel for Utah's Class of 2019!

Who is Hillel for Utah?

Hillel for Utah, the state's only Jewish campus organization, seeks to inspire students to make a positive connection to Jewish life, learning, and Israel. Grounded in Jewish values, we foster a vibrant, open community with the responsibility to enhance the world and shape the Jewish future.

Every year, approximately 275 Jewish students are enrolled in Utah's colleges and universities. Last year, more than 600 students of all backgrounds engaged with Hillel and Birthright Israel for programming and leadership development opportunities. We offer Shabbat Dinners and Havdalah programs, bagel tUesdays at the University of Utah, and uniquely Utah outdoor Jewish experiences like apple picking at the holidays, Havdalah hikes, and river floats. The Winter Snow & Desert Shabbaton is always a wonderful weekend of Shabbat celebration, Israeli food, culture, and snow activities. We present a Shabbat 2/4 experience every second and fourth week when classes are in session as well as a student-led Passover Seder. Students are welcomed at no charge for services and High Holidays at local synagogues.
